What Should I Wear?

Answer

Attire: Semi-formal Men: Suits or blazer and slacks Ladies: Mid-length to floor-length dress, or pants / blouse sets. Light jackets highly recommended as temperatures drop significantly at night. Spruce Mountain is a working ranch, and our ceremony will take place outdoors on a sloped lawn. We recommend choosing footwear that’s practical—block heels, wedges, dressy flats, sandals, or even chic cowboy boots are great options. Please avoid stilettos, as they can sink into grass and dirt. Cowboy boots, bolo ties, and hats are all welcome—we’d love for you to lean into the ranch vibe!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Early May in Larkspur, Colorado is beautiful but can be unpredictable. Historically, you can expect mild spring weather with daytime temperatures in the 60s, but it can be warmer or cooler depending on the day. Evenings tend to cool down quickly, often dropping into the 40s once the sun sets. While unlikely, it’s not unheard of for Colorado to experience a wide range of weather this time of year—even snow or unusually warm temperatures.

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your children and the joy they bring, this will be an adults only event other than our ring bearers/children of the immediate family. Please make alternative arrangements for your children for the wedding day.

Will there be travel provided to and from the venue

Answer

Yes! Shuttles TBD. Self parking also available at the venue. Ubers could be a good option to get to the venue, but will not pickup from the venue. Please indicate if you would like to use the provided shuttle on your RSVP.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. Cocktail hour and reception will be indoor / outdoor at Albert's Lodge on the Ranch site.
