Welcome to Durham! If you are staying Downtown Durham for the weekend, below are a few of our favorite spots for you to check out while in town.

Our Fav Casual Dinner Spots

A few dinner spots we recommend you check out: Queeny's -- chill bar with great food - get the burger! QueenBurger -- a great smash burger - a more casual burger spot Hutchins Garage -- our favorite pizza - and then grab wine at Louella! Motorco's Parts & Labor -- one of our all time favs - All the food is so good Hi-Wire Brewing for beers and order pizza from Cugino Forno to your table

Our Fav Nicer Dinner Spots

If you are looking for a nice night out - we suggest: Mateo -- amazing tapas! Mothers & Sons Trattoria -- great Italian Alley Twenty Six -- great cocktails and the burger and steak frites are both perfect Seraphine -- delish Louisiana flavors, in American Tobacco Campus Bar Virgile -- doesn't take reservations and not good for large parties - but this is one of our fav date night spots! Other favorites of ours but not walkable, take an Uber/Lyft: Vin Rogue -- perfect French bistro! Gocciolina -- probably our favorite restaurant ever... Incredible Italian!

Looking for drinks? Check these out: Corpse Reviver -- great cocktails - our first date spot and where Evan proposed! Liberty & Plenty -- great cocktails The Velvet Hippo -- super fun cocktails, rooftop! The Roof at The Durham Hotel -- great views of downtown Killer Queen -- our favorite wine bar Louella -- great wine store/bar Boxcar Bar + Arcade -- great drinks and lots of games - also has yummy pizza If you are looking for good beer, check out: DSSOLVR Durham Surf Club Ponysaurus Brewing Hi-Wire Brewing Durty Bull Brewing The Glass Jug Beer Lab Also know Downtown Durham is a social district until 10pm. So if you'd like order a drink to-go, they will put it in a "Bullpen" cup and you can walk around with your drink!

Looking for something sweet? Check out: Two Roosters -- amazing ice cream The Parlour -- also great ice cream MilkShake Factory -- insane milkshakes Coupe & Stein Champagne Bar -- go for wine and dessert!

Our Fav Breakfast/Lunch Spots

If you are looking for breakfast: Grub Durham -- a classic breakfast! Dame's Chicken and Waffles -- soo good.. go hungry though - it is a lot of food! Rise Biscuits -- for something quick/to go! If you are looking more for lunch: Geer Street Garden -- get the fried chicken salad! Motorco's Parts & Labor -- delish bar food Durham Food Hall -- we love Ex-Voto! Get the crunchwrap, they also have breakfast burrtios Parker and Otis -- perfect sandwiches! Plus it is a super cute store. Closed on Sunday so go Saturday! In American Tobacco Campus - fun area to walk around! Lakewood Social -- about a 10 min drive from the heart of downtown but a great spot - Get the fried chicken sandwich or burger! Everything is delish If you are looking for coffee shops: Foster Street Coffee Cocoa Cinnamon The Oak House Check out the Durham Farmers' Market Saturday morning 8am-12pm. You'll find the market right across the street from the Durham Food Hall and Callie's old apartment at Durham Central Park.
