Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire -- think cocktail dresses, or a suit and tie, or a sports coat. We anticipate pleasant, sunny weather during July. That said, Bay Area summers can be foggy and cold, especially in the early morning and late evening. Please plan accordingly for both the day of the wedding and any additional days you’ll be in the Bay Area.

Will the ceremony and reception be in the same place?

Answer

Yes! All parts of the wedding will take place at the Brazilian Room. The ceremony will be held outside, and cocktail hour and dinner will be held inside.

Can I take photos or video during the ceremony?

Answer

In order for everyone to fully enjoy the ceremony, we ask that no photographs or video be taken during the ceremony itself, and that you turn off (not just silence) your cell phones during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer documenting the ceremony, and photos will be made available publicly after the wedding.

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

We have a strict guest list in order to stay on budget – as such, our celebration is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. Please reach out if that might prove an issue!

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

As soon as you know you can make it! To ensure an accurate headcount for the venue and vendors, we ask that you RSVP by April 20, 2025 (4/20) at the latest.

What if I can't attend? Will there be a livestream?

Answer

We know that some of our guests will not be able to attend in person. We are working to coordinate a livestream option for our guests from out of the area.
