What should I wear?

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In late October, Florida weather is typically in the mid-70's to low 80's during the day. There are times it can get cooler once the sun goes down, however, the ceremony will be held outside prior to sunset and the reception will be inside the barn.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The entire event, including the ceremony and reception, will take place at Covington Farm in Dade City, FL.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Cocktail hour will take place while the wedding party is being photographed. There will be appetizers and drinks for guests during this time. There will be dinner, cake, and lots of fun during the reception (bring your dancing shoes!)

What should I do if I can't make it to the wedding?

Answer

If you are unable to attend, please RSVP that you cannot attend as soon as possible (wedding invitations will be sent out in July.) We will miss you!

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Type "Covington Farm Weddings and Events" into your phone, and Apple/Google Maps should direct you there!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids, the wedding will be an adults-only event.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please see the "Registry" tab on this website for more information on our wedding registry. We are registered for a variety of household items and there is also a honeymoon fund :)

Question

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel?

Answer

Uber is available to drive you to and from either of the hotels listed here on our website. No cars are allowed to be parked overnight at the venue, so please plan accordingly!
