We met on Evan's 19th birthday, which was also the day before the first day of classes during our Sophomore year at Miami University. Anna was a new transfer student, and Evan was looking to make new friendships. Anna's first new friends at Miami brought her to the dorm that their friends lived in, and the dorm Evan lived in. Anna talked Evan's ear off for a couple hours (and annoyed him), and then convinced him to go out to the bar to celebrate his birthday (she was very convincing for someone that was absolutely not going to go to the bar herself). The next day, Anna messaged Evan on Twitter to invite him out for a belated birthday lunch, and the rest is history!
