Our Story
It all started one night in the Cleveland Flats thanks to sunglasses Alex’s cousin was wearing & encouragement from Evan’s friend. Evan thought, “This blonde girl is pretty cute I’ll go talk to her.” But Alex made him work for it. Months of texts, beach volleyball, and even a 7-mile sunrise run before a real date.
Then came 2 years of distance! PT school for Alex, Charlotte delays for Evan & lots of late-night FaceTimes. Breaks meant trips to Florida, Mexico & Boston, but always back to missing each other.
Alex’s final year of clinicals brought her back to CLE, and for the 1st time, we got to live together. After 3.5 years of sunrise runs, Evan knew it was time to lock up his “favorite girl” (shoutout JBiebs). He planned a trip to Delray Beach,
and on March 14, 2026, as the sun rose over the Atlantic, Alex said yes to the guy she almost didn’t give a chance to, and he’s forever grateful she did.
We are so thankful that each of you will continue to be part of the journey with us.
