Things To Do
Putney Mountain
This is a short walk (probably about a mile) with an open top and some nice views of the surrounding hills. Definitely wear good shoes for this, but it is a fairly mild walk.
Green Mountain Orchards Inc
This is right down the road from us. Small farm store with some baked goods, pies, and other kitchen knick-knacks. Great place to go blueberry picking!
Brattleboro Downtown Historic District
Brattleboro has a walkable downtown with some local shops and restaurants. Friday night is likely also a "First Friday" event in town, with activities, food and music.
Saxtons Distillery
This is a convenient spot, especially if you are staying in Brattleboro. A small distillery with an outdoor area with some games and seating (and maybe a couple snacks). Great cocktails! Open til 9 pm.
Mount Monadnock
This is a bit of a further drive (more like an hour), but a beautiful day hike if you’ve got some time to spend in the area. Check out the various trail options and lengths!
