Cathedral of Learning
We both graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Oakland campus. The Cathedral of Learning is the second tallest educational building in the world and is in the center of campus.
Strip District
The Strip District runs between 11th and 33rd Streets. For a bunch of local shops, good food, street vendors and grocers. Its fun to go on Saturday or Sunday mornings and walk through all the shops and vendors. Our favorite places to visit are Pennsylvania Macaroni Co., Peppi's, Wholey's, and The Enrico Biscotti Company. You can also visit the Terminal which is a newer area within the Strip. The owner of City Grows (houseplant store within the Terminal) gave us a lifetime discount because we went so much!

Mercurio's Shadyside
Neapolitan Pizza and Gelato. The closest pizza we have found in Pittsburgh to the pizza we had in Italy (Probably because the owners are from Italy!).
