Do you have travel tips?

Answer

Please factor traffic into your drive. Some times of the day are better than others. For those who do not want to drive, Amtrak and flight information are listed in the travel tab.

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes, we have a discounted rate reserved for our wedding guests at the Mystic Marriott. Our unique room block rate is applied for any nights between 10/8-10/12. Information for reserving rooms is on our travel tab. We recommend making time to explore the beautiful Mystic downtown and sites. Check our "things to do" tab to see recommendations.

Will the wedding be outside or indoors?

Answer

The wedding will be outside and by the water. While this gives us beautiful views of the Mystic River, it can also get chilly in October. Please prepare accordingly with shawls, sweaters, or jackets for later in the evening.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal (black tie optional) Guys: suits or tuxedos for men Women: floor-length gowns or pantsuit/jumsuit The ceremony is on gravel, and we recommend a moderate heel size for safety Please keep in mind the venue is outside and plan accordingly

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are hoping to limit the size of the wedding to close family and friends for a more intimate approach. Plus ones will be specified specifically on the invitation. If there is no plus one, we apologize.

Is there a next day breakfast?

Answer

Yes! There will be a breakfast from 9-11am on 10/11. The event will be at the Mystic Marriott (the same hotel as our hotel block). Please RSVP to let us know how many guests to expect!

The museum offers ample parking, including a dedicated parking lot.
