What is the dress code?

We'd love to see you dressed your best in formal attire!

Is smoking allowed on the property?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Northern Haus and all grounds are strictly a non-smoking space and property, including but not limited to e cigarettes, cigarettes, pipes, cigars and vapor pens. Any smoking on their grounds will incur an immediate $2,500.00 fine. So please walk to the main road if you must smoke.

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotel and venue?

Answer

Yes. There will be a shuttle running from Open Hearth Lodge to Northern Haus starting at 3:45 PM on Saturday. It is expected to take 2-3 rounds to the venue. Shuttle service back to Open Hearth Lodge will begin at 10:00 PM.

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, weather permitting, it will be outdoors.

Will the reception be outside?

Answer

Cocktail hour will be both outside and inside. The reception will be inside.

How far is the Woodland Retreat Ceremony location from the main building?

Answer

There is about a quarter mile walk from the main building to the Woodland Retreat where we will hopefully be exchanging vows, weather permitting. 30 minutes prior to the ceremony there will be a complimentary golf cart to drive you back there, if you need.

Are kids Invited?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we would like this to be a child free event. However if you are unable to attend due to child care issues please reach out to Evan or Blair.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is available. You can leave your car overnight if needed.
