True love is when both people think they’re the lucky one.

Let me paint you a scene….I asked her to go to the Marine Corps ball with me for our 4th or 5th date. She looked amazing in her fancy gown. We danced and mingled. She was obviously beautiful but her amazing humor and whit was what made my soul flutter. We eventually made our way outside to take a motto picture in front of the USMC colors (flag). I put my arm around her like most do when taking pictures and pulled this beauty in a little closer. Just then, before the picture was taken she did something that caught me completely off guard. She ever so gently, put her hand on top of mine. She didnt angle her head, or put her hand on her hip or adjusted her stance that which instagram would suggest is key to a “good picture”. She just put her hand on mine. Such a minor movement that meant so much to me. That was a direct reflection of what I believe makes life so great. Those little moments that mean the world to you.
