Harrison and Eva met at the University of Maryland at the beginning of Harrison's junior year and Eva's sophomore year. They were set up to go to a date party together. The two had a great time, and Harrison mustered up the courage to ask Eva on a proper date. They quickly started spending a lot of time together and became boyfriend and girlfriend. After both of them graduated, started their careers, and moved to DC with friends, they decided to move in and have lived together for 3 years.
It all started on February 17th, Eva's birthday, when Harrison surprised Eva with a ring shopping appointment. After ring shopping, Harrison pulled out all of his tricks to throw her off and ensure she would be surprised on their special day. Throughout April, he planned a ton of dates and kept Eva on her toes. Little did Eva know, Harrison had long known the proposal would not be until the 27th. He had his Mom text the pair weeks in advance about (pretend) tickets to see the James Bond Exhibit at the Spy Museum (a real exhibit going on at the time- just in case Eva got suspicious and searched it up). Harrison's parents picked the two of them up, and as they were 'running late', Harrison and Eva were asked to hop out to run and get the tickets. Harrison pretended to show Eva the way to the museum, but instead walked her to the nearby Bartholdi fountain, a special place to the two of them. There, he popped the question! Harrison surprised Eva by having his family, her family, and friends in DC to celebrate with them.
