FAQs

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Absolutely! We love your little ones and are happy to have children join in the celebration.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Yes! Feel free to bring a plus one.

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the Graham Banquet Center in Laingsburg, Michigan. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the same venue.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive about 20-30 minutes before the ceremony starts at 4 pm EST so you have time to park, find a seat, and settle in.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal. Think dresses, slacks, button-downs - whatever makes you feel comfortable and ready to celebrate!

Question

What will the venue be like?

Answer

The Graham Banquet Center has several beautiful spaces, which includes a chapel for our ceremony, a large banquet hall for dinner and dancing, and an outdoor area with yard games, a bonfire pit, and space to relax.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be indoors - however, there will be outdoor space available during cocktail hour and the reception for yard games (giant Jenga, cornhole, etc.), fresh air, and bonfire fun.

Question

What about the MSU football game that weekend?

Answer

East Lansing will be lively due to an MSU home game. We recommend booking hotels early and allowing a little extra travel time on Saturday.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Hotel recommendations and block information can be found under the Travel page. Because it's a busy weekend, reserving rooms early is a great idea.

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes - there is plenty of parking at the venue.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Michigan in September is usually beautiful with temps in the 60s-70s. Evenings can cool off, so a light layer is a good idea if outdoors - otherwise there is a large bonfire pit to help stay warm.

Question

I have dietary restrictions - what should I do?

Answer

Please note any dietary needs when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
