Ryan and Eva met many years ago at Eastern University during their freshman year of undergrad studies. Eva was an elementary and special education major. Ryan was a youth ministry major with classmates named Conrad and Emily. Eva and Emily lived on the same dorm hall, and they quickly became the best of friends! Through introductions and a friend group formation, Ryan and Eva had adventures and interactions over the next four years of college. Their best friends Emily and Conrad celebrated their marriage and as commonly happens after college, people dispersed to their new careers and journeys. There was still some contact here and there between Eva and Ryan. Unfortunately there had been a couple years where Eva and Ryan did not keep in contact more than Philadelphia Union soccer ticket exchanges or occasional text check-ins. Almost no contact for a couple of years is paused on July 16th of 2021 where a new adventure began when Ryan texted Eva out of the blue. This text message led to a coffee shop visit in New Holland, Pennsylvania where the two sat over a meal catching up about the time gone by. From there it led to multiple dates and more conversations, eventually leading to Eva asking Ryan if he would be her wedding date for a November wedding (Nov 13, 2021). And from that evening on, the relationship continued to grow and strengthen. Fast forward a bit to June 11, 2022. Ryan and Eva traveled with friends to Wisconsin for, Ryan's friend, PJ's wedding reception. The Saturday morning of the trip, Ryan and Eva went to a coffee shop and then took a walk along Lake Michigan at the marina in Racine, Wisconsin. We strolled to the end of a path looking out over the water and admiring a little red lighthouse. On this morning in the stunning location, Ryan asked Eva if she would marry him. Eva of course responded with a resounding yes, a thousand times yes! We are so excited for each and everyone of you to be a part of our special day as we become husband and wife on November 12 of 2022!
