Important: When following GPS directions from the hotel to Old St. Patrick Oratory,
If you choose to take I-35 N (usually one of the fastest ways), once you get downtown, it is BEST TO EXIT at THE 12th STREET/2W EXIT. Turn right and go east on 12th Street about 1 mile, then turn left on Cherry Street. Follow Cherry Street north for 3 ½ blocks. The Church will be on your left. Ample free parking is available in the church lot, or on the street.
(GPS directions to the church on I-35 N beyond the 12th Street/2W exit are inaccurate.)
The other easy option is to take 435 E to US 71 North.
When entering Ironwoods Park, keep right till the road ends in The Lodge parking lot. The Lodge (big red barn) will be open after the ceremony, but drinks and hors d’oeuvres will not start until 5 o’clock. You are welcome to come in and visit if you arrive before 5 pm!
