Travel within the city
Uber/lyft is widely available and is your safest and most reliable option to get around after dark. The street cars are a fun way to get around if you are not in a hurry! Transportation will be provided from the ceremony to the reception.
Safety First!!!
Like with any city, its important to have your wits about you in New Orleans. Neighborhoods change quickly - trust your gut and grab an Uber if you have any doubts. If you're going to walk at night, we recommend not walking alone, too far, or too late at night. If you can't walk a straight line- do us a favor and get an Uber :)
Flight Recs
We are seasoned budget travelers and we want to help find ways to make this trip doable! If you are willing to fly a budget airline, Frontier, Allegiant, Breeze, and Spirit airlines all fly into MSY. If you are planning to fly Spirit, we will put your RSVP as a maybe and pray to the airline goddesses on your behalf.
