Q + A

The Wedding Website of partnership & partnership and Celebration of love, land & Dani
Questions (and hopefully some answers). Check back here for updates of additional information.
Question

When can I RSVP?

Answer

We invite you to RSVP as early as you can! This will support us in our planning. Please let us know, no later than May 31st.

Question

Many links on this site are not clickable

Answer

Please highlight the links and copy and paste into a new tab/window! Wedding websites leave something to be desired, and this website doesn't allow as much flexibility as we were hoping, including adding links where we want them (and were were already too deep into setting up this site to change it to a different site)! Sorry about the inconvenience.

Question

How can I help?

Answer

Thank you for asking! Check out our volunteer form here: https://forms.gle/3qLHWjWymwd9eue88. Sorry the link isn't clickable, please highlight and copy and paste into a new tab!

Question

Gender & Pronouns

Answer

Hey all- incase you didn't know, we are a gender queer and trans couple. If that's new for you, please take some time to learn more about gender queerness and transness (https://guides.rider.edu/lgbtqia/nonbinary). Dani uses they/them pronouns and Eva uses she/they pronouns. Please do your best this weekend to celebrate our identities (ie language like partner and couple yay, traditional gendered language boo)

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress to impress! Wear what makes you feel good in your body! Wear what makes you feel comfortable and celebratory! Note this will be an outside party and there will be uneven ground. Please plan and dress accordingly.

Question

I can't afford the costs of travel-

Answer

We'd love for you to join and totally understand that cost is a prohibitive thing. Please reach out to us (eva.westheimer@gmail.com) and we may be able to support some as we are collecting funds to support people with their travel.

Question

Kids and Plus ones:

Answer

Kiddos are welcome and if it's just you're name on the invite and you'd like to bring a plus one, let us know.

Question

Is there cell phone service?

Answer

Sorta! There is no cell phone service where we live, but we have wifi that extends through parts of our farm (where the dinner/dancing is for example) and we have a cell phone booster that works for Verizon phones in the same areas. The wifi password is: farmhouse

Question

Accessibility Notes

Answer

Getting around our farm: for those for whom walking is not accessible, we will have shuttles to bring people up to the ritual site from the parking area, shuttles to bring people back down after the ritual, and shuttles to the dinner/dancing. Please note in your RSVP if you think you will want a shuttle for any of the events. COVID and other sickness- please take care of yourself and our community if you are feeling sick, as much as we'd like you here, please refrain from joining. If you are able, please test for COVID before joining. This will be a large outdoor event, we encourage folks to show up to best fit their needs, masks are always supported. Our property is spilt by a paved road. People unfortunately travel pretty fast on the road. Please look out for yourself and each other when crossing the road.

Question

What to bring

Answer

- Bring your swimsuit if you'd like to go swimming - A headlamp if you have one! We will do our best to light commonly traveled areas, and will have some headlamps for people to borrow, but we want everyone to be safe, so bring one if you can! - If you'd like to walk in the woods, bring some shoes you don't mind getting a little muddy!

Question

A note about the pond

Answer

We will have a lifeguard on duty from 4-8PM to support young peoples safety, and parents and care-takers sense of peace

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

We love your doggos, but please keep your doggo at home. With an active farm, lots of guests (including children), and a road splitting our farm it's not a great time to share our land with your dog. Thank you!

Question

What should I know about the farm?

Answer

We are excited to share the farm with you all! We want to support autonomous exploration of our farm throughout the weekend. We are a working farm, so be aware that fences may be hot! Check back later to see maps of the farm!
