You don’t have to be a racing fan to appreciate this one, the Speedway is full of history, and the museum offers a great peek behind the scenes of the Indy 500.
This place opened in March 2026 and we absolutely love it! They have a great atmosphere and solid selection of food and drinks serving both coffee and alcoholic beverages (making it a perfect pit stop for any time in your day). It is a must see if you are near the Speedway.
One of Indy’s most walkable and fun neighborhoods. It is full of great restaurants and local shops. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink and browse boutiques.
The zoo features animals from around the world, a botanical garden, and even an aquarium. It’s great way to spend an afternoon (plus the grounds are beautiful in summer)!
Home of the 2026 College Football Playoff National Champions!! Indiana University (IU) is a ~60 minute drive outside of Indianapolis. Located in Bloomington Indiana, IU has a stunning campus and makes for a fun afternoon trip. If you visit, check out the Sample Gates, Showalter Fountain, and walk around Kirkwood Ave where you can play "Sink the Biz" at Nicks, a classic Hoosier game.
A little bit of nature right in the city. The park has trails, paddle boats, and great skyline views and is ideal for a morning walk.
Home to the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Newfields combines art, gardens, and wooded trails in one gorgeous spot. It's a great place to explore from the galleries to the Lilly House grounds.
