Here is some information for our guests arriving from near and far. In Hervas there is a bus station with busses going to Plasencia, Madrid and Salamanca. There is no longer any functioning train station in Hervas. Plasencia is the closest city with a train station (30 minutes by car/bus from Hervas). Salamanca is further away (60 minutes by car/bus) but has better train connections to Madrid. The closest airport is in Madrid, and it's relatively cheap and easy to rent a car at the airport. The drive to Hervas is about 3 hours and you can choose between the north route and the south route. While the north route is more scenic, the south route is more comfortable (highway all the way). Apart from the Madrid rea, there is normally not a lot of traffic on neither of the routes, and plenty of places to stop for a coffee or a meal. Regarding accommodation, there are a lot of hotels, apartments and houses to choose from, for all budgets.

Hervas Bus Station

Hervas bus station is located in the middle of our small town and walking distance to everything. There are direct busses to Madrid that takes just over 3 hours. There are several internet sites where you can book tickets with different companies. You'll see one if you click on the link below and another one is: https://www.omio.es/.

Train

Plasencia Train Station

The closest train station, approximately 30 minutes drive from Hervas. Trains to Plasencia from Madrid leaves from the Madrid Atocha station.

Salamanca Train Station

Salamanca is further away (approx. 60 minutes by car/bus) but has better train connections to Madrid (shorter travel time and more departures to choose from). Trains to Salamanca from Madrid leaves from the Madrid Chamartin station.

Flight

Madrid Barajas Airport

Madrid Barajas Airport is the closest one from Hervas, approximately a 3 hour drive by car. Second closest international airport is Lisabon Humberto Delgado Airport, approximately 5 hours drive from Hervas. To get to the train or bus stations from the airport you'll need to take the metro.

This is the wedding venue so we got some big price reductions for the rooms for you. It's an lovely old monastery that has been made into a **** hotel with all modern facilities, including swimming pool. Price is 80 € a night for a double room, breakfast included. Some family rooms exists where you can add extra beds for a cost of 16.80€/night for kids younger than 12 and 33.60€/night for kids older than 12 or adults.
