There was a dog named Link. There was his human named Chris [a.k.a. "Preston" to some]. Chris loved music and played drums in a band. Eunah also loved music and often photographed bands. During the 6th Annual Davis Music Festival, all three paths overlapped: Chris played drums while Eunah photographed him; Eunah pet Link and photographed him as well; Chris discovered someone named Eunah had photographed both him and his dog Link. On July 29 (1 month later), Eunah was moving into her new apartment downtown. When she arrived, she realized the carpets hadn't been replaced. Her landlord asked her to sit tight while they sent someone to replace them ASAP, so she decided to wander downtown in search of something to help her kill time. There was live music happening at Armadillo Music so she walked in looking to see if there was something to photograph. Someone said her name and she looked over at the drummer tucked in the back corner on the stage. She had no idea who he was at first but then she recognized him from the photo she took a month back. The other musicians were still getting settled so he got up and started chatting with her, asking her about the music she liked, even inviting her out to Woodstock's the following night and insisting she check out a new album by Aesop Rock. That was the day Chris and Eunah first met.
