We’re getting married!

Chris and I matched on an online dating site (Thanks, internet!), at the beginning of the pandemic. We set up a date after about a month, unsure if we were allowed to meet in person. To be honest, neither of us really expected much to come of this date. We decided to meet at Edwin Warner Park on a sunny, warm Saturday. Chris almost didn’t show, but his roommate pushed him to still go. When Chris walked up, I was relieved he actually looked like his online pictures! As we walked around a tiny loop in Edwin Warner Park, we talked about anything and everything for 3 hours. As soon as the date was over, I called two of my now bridesmaids to tell them I might have just met my future husband. Chris went back to his roommates, telling them he was going to marry me one day. - Christina

Christina and I planned a weekend cabin getaway months in advance and I figured this would be a great opportunity to pop the question. I bought the ring a month or two before and managed to keep the upcoming proposal a secret. We arrived late on Friday night after a last minute offer from the AirBNB for an extra night. The cabin was gorgeous and the view was perfect. We woke up the next morning and I set up flowers on the porch and waited for her to come down. I also put flowers in the puppies’ collars and they greeted her at the stairs as she came down. Christina said yes and we spent an amazing weekend together. - Chris
