It all started on November 16, 2019. Our first date almost didn’t happen—thanks to train delays that nearly derailed our plans. But fate (and persistence) were on our side! We finally met, much later than expected, and instantly clicked over a great conversation. By the end of the night, we knew we wanted to see each other again soon. And the rest, as they say, is history!

On February 17, 2024, Scott planned a surprise getaway to the Adirondacks. All he told me was to pack warm clothes, so I had no idea what was in store. The next day, we visited a beautiful frozen lake, and that’s when Scott got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. In that moment, I was so overwhelmed with happiness that I barely remember anything—but I do remember saying, “Of course, yes!”
