#trusthepROSSess ...We could not have picked a better wedding hashtag if we tried. In 2019, Trust the Process was a cute play on words while also incorporating Gene’s love of the Philadelphia 76ers , but in 2020, God showed us exactly what these words would mean. #trustthepROSSess meant canceling most pre-wedding activities and as the global pandemic progressed, choosing to post-pone our May 3, 2020 wedding day celebration, #trusthepROSSess meant 7 days prior finally hearing from our county court office after weeks of contacting almost every other county in PA about a virtual marriage license only to be denied each time because it wasn’t a COVID-19 emergency or we didn’t live in the county, #trustthePROSSess meant 2 days prior, having Zale's Jewelers approve a curbside pick up of your wedding rings that had been stuck in the mall since the lockdown, #trustthepROSSess meant not getting married at the Waterfall in our finest attire with 200 of our closest friends and family but rod setting my hair because that’s the only style I can do myself that looks presentable, doing my own nails and makeup and rocking my NinaStreetsDesigns original from my bridal shower (funny how God works because since I was a kid, I always talked about Aunt Nina making my wedding dress) and having his mom and brother help cut his hair and grabbing an old suit out the closet to get married in front of the water fountain in the same park where our relationship became official almost 10 years ago with just 10 of our family & friends So, if #trustheprocess was a person.. it would be us!! 1. Trust God’s plan, because it’s always better 2. Choose your next hashtag wisely, never know how it will manifest in your life 3. We can’t wait to FINALLY celebrate with you
