Cute local coffee shop with knickknacks and souvenirs.
This is Elizbeth's favorite hike, because it only 40 minutes from their house and it's not heavily traveled. The address will take you PAST the trail (if you are coming from Longmont). The trail is actually a few hundred feet before the address as the road turns. It is on the right side and you have to park on the edge of the road in the makeshift pull off area. The beginning of the trail takes a super sharp right turn up a rocky path. Let us know if you'd like to take Charlie with you, he would LOVE that and is a great hiking dog. Hike duration is about 3-4 hours.
Cool
Good for a scenic walk around the lake. Charlie would love to join you!
Cute trail behind the mall near the Hilton that has various pieces of artwork along the way. This is only a small portion of the St. Vrain Greenway.
There might be a splash pad built here by the time our wedding happens. This is also next to our house. There is a basketball court, pond, playground, trails, and open space. Some history- https://susankdailey.com/kensington-park/
Guest pass is $20. -ask Elizabeth if interested
Pottery Painting! Takes a few days to fire and get your completed project. We are willing to pick them up and mail if needed.
Elizabeth can take you (for free?) as a guest. Just let her know!
There is FREE admission here on June 19th. It will be packed but we highly recommend. Worth it to pay on a different day too.
Packers and Badger's Bar. There's a grilled cheese food challenge here. Elizabeth is on the wall of shame.
Obviously. About an hour drive, traffic dependent. On concert days the park closes around 2 pm to start sounds checks.
About 3 hours from Longmont. Short hike to a watering hole with cliff jumping.
