What should I bring and/or wear?

Answer

For the wedding, the attire is Formal or Black Tie Optional. Appropriate attire include tuxes, dark suits and tie, long gowns or jumpsuits/pant suits, knee-length cocktail dresses, or dressy separates. Please bring appropriate clothing for the wedding, cocktail hour, and reception. The cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will be on a stone terrace. We recommend bringing comfortable clothing for the non-wedding parts of the weekend. There is hiking, shopping, art galleries, and other activities available in Lenox and the surrounding areas. Bring clothing for these activities and to leisurely enjoy the weekend. The dress code for the non-wedding meals and events is causal.

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

Children are welcome at wedding festivites. Please note that we will be having a "kids-free" ceremony, during which babysitting will be provided. Children are welcome at the reception.

What are the food options for the reception dinner?

Answer

We will be having a plated first course (salad) and the second course (entrees) will be served family style at each table for communal eating. We will have beef, salmon, and a vegetarian option available at each table. Please do let us know if you have a dietary restriction!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will provide transportation to and from the wedding at the Courtyard Marriott in Lenox. For those person who are not staying at the Marriott and do not want to drive to the venue, please feel free to park in the Marriott Parking Lot and ride the shuttle to the wedding site. We will provide additional information on shuttle times closer to the wedding and we will include all relevant transportation information in your welcome bag, which will be given to you at the Welcome Party!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at the ceremony & reception site. We will have shuttles available to transfer guests to the wedding site as it is a 10 minute walk from the parking lot through the gardens.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation for any additional guests. We have tried hard to provide everyone with clear information about their ability to bring a guest. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any questions!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive by 5:30 PM to have time to be seated comfortably.

Can I attend the New York reception and the Portland reception?

Answer

If you have received an invitation to the New York reception, we would love to see you at our Portland reception as well! We ask that you RSVP to the Portland reception if you plan to attend so we know to expect you.

What COVID precautions are you taking?

Answer

We expect guests to be vaccinated or wear a mask at all wedding-related events. If you have concerns about either of these requirements, please feel free to reach out to us.
