It all started at Pakalolos... where, depending on who you ask, our love story either began… or was almost completely missed... Ethan will tell you it was love at first sight. Tyra will tell you that’s very interesting, considering he barely spoke to her and spent most of the night chatting away with his friends. A strong start, clearly. Luckily, fate (and perhaps a little curiosity) stepped in, and we found our way back to each other for two more dates that December. Somewhere between those summer days, the spark turned into something undeniable, the kind of feeling you don’t really question, you just know. From then on, Ethan made it his mission to see Tyra whenever he could, even if it meant driving all the way from Pretoria just to spend five quick minutes together before her internship shifts. Short visits, long drives, and very little logic… but a whole lot of love. On the 14th of February 2021, Ethan finally made things official and asked Tyra to be his girlfriend… and of course, she said yes. And somehow, from a night of almost not talking at Pakalolos, we ended up here, five years later, planning forever together. Funny how things work out when they’re meant to be.
