Matron of Honor
Kendyl is one of my sisters and is a real life example to me of what it looks like to love others well and how to have a good laugh! As we’ve grown up and entered adulthood, I’ve really valued her wisdom and perspective on a variety of topics, ranging from teaching children, faith, family, or what being a good friend looks like. She is one of the most thoughtful gift givers I’ve ever met, a great question asker and attentive listener, and so caring. She currently lives in Wyoming with her husband, Josh, and their german shepherd, Hurley. She is going into her fourth year of teaching and is currently teaching 3rd grade.

Taryn is my twin sister and is a treasure to me! We’ve known each other for quite some time now, and I’m so grateful for how we have continued to grow closer as adults. Over the last several years, we’ve had some of the most meaningful conversations together, processing life, faith, and the changes in each of our lives. I am so grateful for these conversations - I feel we’ve always had some degree of twin telepathy going on that helps us understand one another more deeply! Taryn has one of the most soft, genuine hearts and giving nature of anyone I know. She consistently sees the best in others and is moved by compassion, and these characteristics make her a great mom! She and her husband, Jon, live in Wyoming with their two kids (with one on the way!) and two dogs.

Keegan and I initially met when she and her family moved to Powell back in the 3rd grade. It wasn’t until middle school that we became really close friends. Keegan’s support and friendship as we’ve gone through college and into our post-college years has been one of the most meaningful relationships in my life! Keegan is steady, wise, thoughtful, and caring. She has been a trustworthy sounding board as we’ve walked through several highs and lows and has taken the brunt of my verbal processing tendencies! I have always admired Keegan’s willingness to be there for others, her intentionality to invest in others, and her foundation of faith. She currently lives in Wyoming with her husband, Dawson, and their dog, Lucy. They will soon be welcoming a little one to their family as well later this year!
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I also started to grow a closer friendship back in middle school! Since that time, Rachel has been such a consistent friend. She celebrates others easily and brings the party wherever she goes, including the 24 hr library at UWyo where we had molten lava cake and ice cream at midnight to celebrate my birthday! This is just one example of Rachel’s thoughtfulness and consistency. As we’ve gone through vet and med school, I’ve really valued her wisdom and how we can connect over the challenges and joys of our jobs. I admire her grit, determination, steadfastness, and honesty! Rachel currently lives in Oregon with her husband, Cam, and their two dogs where she’s working as a vet!

Another dear friendship that began in middle school! I feel like our friendship really started to take off when we sat together in choir, resulting in daily chit-chat time. After high school, I think we collectively clouded up all of snap chat’s airwaves with our video chat updates! We’ve now moved on to life update podcasting with voice memos. I have been so grateful for Marcie’s dependable friendship, thoughtfulness, and support. I admire her passion for history, for art, for different cultures, and Mary’s Mountain Cookie’s ice cream sandwiches. She and her husband, Branden, along with their cat, live in Wyoming where she is an archivist in the state archives. They are currently working on making their new house a home!

Jordan and I met as roommates when I was in college! She came to Laramie needing a place to stay, and it turned into 5 years living together! Lucky for me, Jordan has a heart for serving others and a love language of cooking, so I had a lot of good food and homemade bread over the years. Jordan is intentional, gentle, thoughtful, organized, and really cares for others' wellbeing. We also share a fun memory of getting impromptu tattoos together in Fort Collins to celebrate my first board exam! Jordan brightened my last few years in Laramie, and I am so thankful for her continued friendship. Jordan still lives in Wyoming and works in college ministry. It’s been sweet to walk through this season of life together, as she’s also engaged and marrying her fiance, Chris, this July!
Bridesmaid
Katelyn is another friend I met in college! Our relationship started as a discipleship relationship and has continued into a sweet friendship. We met weekly to talk about life and faith for four years, and since then we’ve continued to have great conversations and fun mountain adventures together! Katleyn and I were both in Montana at the same time for grad school rotations, and going hiking in the snow is one of my favorite memories with her! Katelyn is a wonderful encourager, a fantastic listener, is full of wisdom, and has a gift for exhorting others. She is truly a blessing to her patients and all who know her! She’s currently living in Nebraska working as a physical therapist and settling into post-grad school life.
Best Man
Just 18 months after I was born, my brother came into the world! While Caleb and I are very different people, there is no one that I spent more of my childhood with than him! Caleb is a gifted musician not only because of his innate talent, but also because of the years of dedicated practice he has put into it. He has blessed so many people with the songs he plays. Caleb never hesitates to serve those around him and he fights to protect those who society has left behind. He does not shy away from caring for others even when things get tough or the situation gets complicated. I am honored to have him as a brother and to have him stand with me on my wedding day.
Best Man
When I was in middle school, our family adopted Nathan and Keira from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Nathan and I have always enjoyed doing anything outdoors or athletic. We have spent countless hours tossing a football back and forth in the front yard. He is loyal, kind, and a team player. He is humble and seeks to put the attention on others rather than himself despite his subtle charisma and not so subtle talent. Nathan graduated high school this past May and has recently been getting into photography.
Groomsman
Jake and I met as Freshman year roommates at Wheaton college. Our first conversations revolved around books that we both enjoy such as The Great Gatsby and The Catcher in the Rye. Over the past nine years, Jake has become one of my closest friends. He is wise, intentional, and a good listener. I deeply admire his pursuit of the Lord and his commitment to pursuing Christlikeness. Our many adventures together include roadtripping to Utah, playing tennis on top of a parking garage, and fine dining in Copenhagen. I am truly grateful to have him as a friend.

Peter and I met on a canoeing trip prior to our Freshman year of college at Wheaton and have been friends ever since. He is adventurous, hard-working, and discerning. I am deeply indebted to Peter for sharing his love of the outdoors and so many things that are out there in the world just waiting to be experienced. We have done life together through many twists and turns. I admire his love of the Lord and his dedication to those around him. He has been there for me through so many sorrows and joys and I am so grateful to have him in my life. I am honored to have him in my wedding.

Seven years ago, through a chaotic series of events, Christian and I became roommates our Junior year of college. Into senior year, during the pandemic, we spent long hours having good conversations, watching films, and playing Dungeons and Dragons. It has been a blessing to share laughs, struggles, and triumphs together. He is smart, eccentric, and principled. I admire the way he fully pursues excellence in his work and loyalty to his friends. I had the honor of being one of his groomsmen at his wedding to his lovely wife Tatiana. They live with their son Shepard in Madison, WI.
Groomsman
The first time I met John-Michel, I was lying in the woods at night all alone after spraining my ankle during a camp game. Out of nowhere Jon-Michel appeared and carried me on his back to the nurse’s station. I was saved! Years later, we became roommates our Junior and Senior year at Wheaton and grew close through the confinement of the pandemic. I have been blessed by his wisdom, the hospitality of his family, and kindness. He is loyal, introspective, and fiercely defends his friends. He has been a rock and confidant these past several years. He lives with his wife, Kate, and daughter, Maddie, in Sugar Grove, IL.

Yet another one of my roommates from my college years, Josh, has been such a good friend over the years. He is generous, loyal, and kind. Some of my favorite memories with Josh have been playing board games, going out for all you can eat sushi, and 21 pilots concerts. Josh is attentive and consistently seeks the good of those around him. He is a good cook and one of the fastest readers I know! It is an inside joke among some of us that Josh has the worst luck when it comes to games. But I can say with certainty that I am the lucky one to have him as a friend.
