Yes! There is a 20% discount on all rooms and cabins since we have bought out the lodge for the weekend. Please use the provided link to book any accommodations and the discount will be automatically applied.
Kit Carson Lodge is a historic property. There is only Wi-Fi in the common areas, like the restaurant and general store.
The cellular service may be spotty due to the more remote location of the lodge. We encourage everyone who is unfamiliar with the area to download the map directions to the venue prior to the drive.
Yes! The lodge has plenty of free, on site parking for our guests.
Yes! Our ceremony and reception will both be hosted at Kit Carson Lodge.
Attire is formal. We encourage neutral colors that you would easily find in nature in order to complement the majestic beauty of the Eldorado National Forest. Please keep in mind that it may be chilly and our ceremony and reception are both being hosted outdoors. There will be plenty of heaters and fire pits, along with the option to mingle in the dining room.
There will be plenty of appetizers at cocktail hour, followed by a full dinner at the reception. Please note in your RSVP if you have severe allergies or other concerns, so that we can make sure everyone leaves full!
There is a full restaurant and general store on the property. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All of the cabins also have fully stocked kitchens.
