FAQs

Question

Q: What should I wear?

Answer

A: We’re going for a timeless, nature-inspired look with soft colors like dusty blue, dusty pink, and green. We would love for you to wear our wedding colors. Think pretty sundresses and dressy casual outfits. For men, we request only solid color shirts and nice jeans. For women, we request a nice floral or solid color dress. Question

Q: Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

A: Absolutely! We’ll have a catered buffet-style meal at the family camp, plus s’mores by the fire later for dessert and fun.

Question

Q: Who is invited to the ceremony?

Answer

A: Our handfasting ceremony is an intimate, private gathering with just us, Emi, and our officiant. We look forward to celebrating with family and friends at the reception.

Question

Q: Who can attend the reception?

Answer

A: The reception is by invitation only and limited to close family and friends. We’re excited to celebrate together at the family hunting camp in a cozy, nature-filled setting.

Question

Q: Is there a gift registry?

Answer

A: Instead of a traditional registry, we’ve created cash funds for our honeymoon adventures—like ziplining, scenic chair lifts, fishing, and a couples massage. Details are on our wedding website if you'd like to contribute. Your love and support mean the most to us!

Question

Q: When can guests arrive to set up their tents and camp?

Answer

A: Guests may arrive no earlier than 4:30 pm on the day of the reception to set up their tents and get settled. This helps us keep everything organized and private.

Question

Q: Will there be activities for kids at the reception?

Answer

A: Yes! We’ll have a dedicated kids’ table with fun activities, outdoor games, and even a balloon bounce house to keep the little ones entertained and happy throughout the celebration.

Question

Q: Will there be a dance or music at the reception?

Answer

A: While music and dancing aren’t the main focus, we’ll have some tunes playing and a cozy space with twinkle lights for anyone who wants to dance or relax and enjoy the evening.

Question

Q: Will there be parking available?

Answer

A: Yes! Parking will be available at the campgrounds and ceremony area. We’ll provide detailed directions and parking info closer to the date.

Question

Q: Can I bring my pet?

Answer

A: A: Due to the outdoor venue and other guests’ comfort, we kindly ask that pets not be brought to the event, as well as Sera has severe allergies. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for helping us keep everyone comfortable and safe.

Question

Q: Will there be restrooms available?

Answer

A: Yes — Gammy’s camper will be on-site with one bathroom available for guests. That said, it’s the only one, so please be respectful. And let’s be real… boys can find a tree.
