“Growing up in the same county and going to the same high school, we knew each other long before we started dating. We were always friendly when seeing one another but didn’t really hang out with the same people simultaneously though we did have mutual friends. After several years, college, jobs and both of us moving away from home, we both ended up back in Centerville, TN. We spoke about our interest in one another to many, but it took us awhile to reach out to each other. We began conversing through social media with the push of several mutual friends. Finally, we agreed to hang out and go to a get together with a lot of other friends. Once we got there, we spent the whole night talking to each other about anything and everything-it was literally like we had been best friends our whole lives. There were no boundaries and no off limit topics, and that really meant a lot. Since that night in June of 2016, we have been best friends and building on our relationship since then. On July 3, 2016, we took our friendship to the next level and established ourselves as an “official” couple. Over the years, we have laughed, we have cried, we have had many adventures. We’ve had good times and bad. We’ve had 2 houses,5 dogs, and a lifetime of memories. On July 3, 2019, our three year anniversary, Ethan proposed on top of Ruby Mountain in Colorado. Everything was planned out so perfectly and thoughtfully. It was the most beautiful and surreal thing we have ever experienced. We are so grateful, thankful and blessed for all of the support and love as we begin our married lives together.” -Ethan and Paige
