Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta
This is the exact resort and beach where we got engaged this past February! We are so excited to share this special place with the people we love! This resort is where we will be staying and where our ceremony and reception will be held! We have a room block for a minimum of 3 nights (2/25-2/28) but can be extended up to 3 days before and/or after at our secured rate if you want a longer vacation! To book call +52 (322) 226 0404 Ext: 6639 or email reservas@sheratonvallarta.com.mx and mention you will be attending the wedding of Nicole Goret and Ethan Fitter February 2027 (if you call they may initially answer in Spanish but if you speak in English they will be able to communicate). They will ask for a deposit of 1 night stay to hold the room ($234). The deadline to book is 1/28/27. Any reservation made after this date is subject to availability and will be at the resort's current nightly rate. That being said, we still recommend booking earlier than later in case they fill up! Flight
Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR)
The airport is a 20-minute taxi ride away from the resort. Upon landing, you will go through customs first. Then there will be ATM machines on the right. We recommend getting out some pesos to start with and then you can always get out more at the hotel. Once you have some pesos, find the taxi ticket counter inside the terminal and purchase a ticket voucher (you can use a credit card for this). Take your voucher outside to the taxi stand and give to a taxi company employee. Tell them how many people are with you and that you are going to the Sheraton Buganvilia Resort. They will find you a taxi! *please note that on your walk out to taxi ticket counter you will encounter a group of sales people that will try to sell time shares, events, etc. It is best to just keep walking and not interact with them*

Passports
This website shows you how to apply/renew a passport: https://www.usa.gov/passport We advise starting the application process well before the event to ensure you get your passport in time! If you already have a passport, please make sure to check it and ensure it does not expire within 6 months of the event date to avoid any travel issues! We are happy to provide assistance in obtaining or renewing your passport if needed!

Travel Health Insurance
Most US health insurance policies do not cover international travel. We recommend looking into international health insurance for your trip/stay. There are several platforms for this, but we have used GeoBlue for the last few years. It has options and is easy to do all online! Just enter your travel dates and your age and it will give you a quote!
