IMPORTANT: RECEPTION
Answer
The reception will be held at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Banner Elk, NC. It is roughly 35 minutes from the ceremony location. Can I bring alcohol?
Answer
This will be a dry wedding. DO NOT bring alcohol or plan to have any in cars. We will have plenty of drinks to quench your thirst! :)

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We DO NOT want our friends and family to take pictures or videos on cell phones/cameras during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer take pictures and you WILL get access to them once we do. Enjoy the moment, we don't want to look out and see phones instead of your sweet faces.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Ethan moved into the apartment that we will share once we're married early, and because of this we don't need many home good items. I some things on our Amazon registry, but I have also created cash funds if you're feeling generous and would like to contribute to our savings or honeymoon :)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 4:00pm. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to be seated prior to the ceremony.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Dress code is summer casual. Florals and bright colors if you have them! Reception will be outside, so prepare for that! If you want to match the theme, our wedding colors are burnt orange, light pink, and greens :)

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Unless you were given a plus one on your invitation, you CAN NOT bring a date.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes! We love kids! We will try our hardest to include your children on your family's invitation, but if we miss a little one (or you are expecting a little one by our wedding) please text one of us!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, everyone will park at Perkinsville Baptist Church! In the event that we run out of parking, please park at Hardin Park Elementary School. It's a short walk across the street from the church.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
No.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding will be in July and while App State student traffic will be down, some tourists will likely be in town to escape the heat. If you're planning to come from out of town I would book a hotel sooner than later. There are also gorgeous Airbnbs in our area if families want to stay together!
