Ethan and I met back at the good old Greendale Mall (now demolished hopefully that's not a sign Lol) while starting our careers in EMT school. I sat in the front row and he sat behind me and I would swivel around my chair and say Hi at least 10 times before he finally said Hi back. Since the first conversation I don't think we ever stopped talking. It wasn't long before we had coffee shop "study" dates at 3am and walks around Elm Park while catching Pokémon. We first said I love you in N&J donuts also at 3am. If anyone knows us we were and still are night owls. We supported each other though Ethan going to Paramedic School/Fire Academy and shortly after I began PA school. He would watch Netflix at the Bean Counter while I studied every day. It didn't matter what we were doing as long as we were together. We grew from being teenagers to successful adults together. We bought our first house last year and have two adorable crazy pups named Latte and Mocha (hopefully by now you get the gist that we like coffee). This year will be our 7th year together and we've grown so much and cannot wait to tie the knot.
For years we had been dreaming about visiting Valencia, Spain where I studied abroad. In the beginning of our relationship I said Adios and headed to Spain. Even miles apart I knew he was the one and not one day passed in Spain that we didn't FaceTime. Finally last October we headed off to finally visit Spain together and it meant so much to me to show him the place that I lived. That little park near my the house I lived was the most perfect spot for Ethan to get down on one knee with the most beautiful ring. Of course I screamed YES and was honestly very surprised. Every year Ethan and I would go look at rings in this little antique ring shop in Ogunquit ME. We would go in there and I would pick out the most sparkly one and say umm Ethan this one and we would laugh and say maybe next year. The owners even started to recognize us. I was so surprised to find that when I was sleeping after getting home from work one day Ethan drove out to Maine and back before I woke up to pick up my beautiful ring. This made our proposal even more special. We even went back to our shop to get our wedding bands.
