It all started with two people who swiped right. Ethan was new to Florida, Kierstyn was in her second year at Stetson Law. They matched on a dating app, and Ethan sparked up a conversation. I would say the rest was history at that point... but that didn't come until one April night, when Ethan said "I know we'd be meeting each other for the first time by going to a Kenny Chesney concert butttt I think we would have a lot of fun!" Kierstyn - a little hesitant because this is someone she never met, but at the same time loves concerts and music and all things spontaneity - said yes! So on that hot April 23, 2022 night - that is the night where it all truly began, and the rest was history. Ethan may not have known what he was signing up for, in that Kierstyn was in her second year of law school, and he was in his second year of living in Florida in general. More specifically, he just met a Duval girl - with roots tied deeply in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. He eventually would go and visit her on her summer internship that summer, and probably didn't realize at the time that he would end up back there a year later... moving in with Kierstyn. Sure enough, in May 2023, Kierstyn graduated from law school. Ethan and Kierstyn went back and forth about where to live - is it going to be Sarasota? Or is it going to be Jax? Eventually, Jacksonville was the move. Just over a year into their relationship, Ethan committed to picking up and moving to Jacksonville to start a new chapter with Kierstyn in Jacksonville. They moved to Neptune Beach - and boy did God pave the way for them. Ethan was able to find a new job, they were able to move into a beach cottage with Grandma Lindy as the Landlord, and all the familial resources were close by - and did we mention they were living a block from the beach?! Then, in February 2025, Ethan and Kierstyn took a trip to their favorite spot - Rincon, Puerto Rico. It was a trip Kierstyn thought was all planned to celebrate her birthday - but as it turned out, Ethan had a whole plan of his own in mind. A plan to PROPOSE! On February 12, 2025, Ethan got down on one knee and asked Kierstyn to marry her on the beach in Rincon, Puerto Rico. With little to no hesitation, Kierstyn said YES! The two are very excited for what the future holds, and ever-so-grateful for all that God has done to provide and make His way in their relationship thus far. Who would have thought that a boy from Lafayette, Louisiana would meet a girl from Jacksonville, Florida and end up being best friends and partners forever? We are so excited to celebrate with each and every one of you. All that are invited have a special place in our hearts, and we cherish and appreciate memories and experiences shared with all of you - whether together or individually. So let's party!
