We met on tinder...yes, it can work! I drove 2 hours to his house one night in October. Ethan accidentally told his parents I was from Chattanooga and before I went in to meet them, he asked me to play along. Here I am nervous meeting all these people for the first time, but I went with it. I had a great time, but just didn't know about the distance so we stopped talking....for like a week. Ethan text me the next Saturday and said "How bout our Vols". It was then I knew it was meant to be!

After dating for 3 years, we knew things were pretty serious and we were ready to take the next step. My best friend worked at a local jewelry store, so Ethan had it made with the guidance. My mom planned a trip for the three of us to Las Vegas for 4th of July. Little did I know, Ethan was planning to propose on the 4th. Although I was not expecting it at all, I had other plans...The night before our flight I lost my wallet which had my cash, cards, and ID in it. I was almost positive it was in the house. I unpacked every single bag searching, including his backpack where the ring was. After two hours of looking and tearing up the whole house, I found my wallet and somehow didn't find the ring. After all that stress, Ethan decided he didn't want to wait and he proposed the first night we were there. The first time I went to Vegas, I didn't get to see the Vellagio Fountains, so I knew if I only did one thing while we were there thats what I wanted to do. He proposed during one of the shows and I think maybe two people around us noticed. I loved that because it felt like it was just the two of us in our special moment!
