WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Answer
Please arrive by 3:00pm. The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm.

WHERE WILL THE CELEBRATION TAKE PLACE?
Answer
The entire wedding will take place at The Roost Event Center in Mahaffey, PA! The address is 935 Rorabaugh Road, Mahaffey, PA.

IS TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED?
Answer
Yes! Please let us know in your RSVP if you will be using our transportation. A charter bus will pick up guests from the Hampton Inn in Altoona and return them after the celebration. Please make sure to arrive on time to catch the charter bus. Pickup times will be shared closer to the wedding day via our website and will be at the front desk at The Hampton Inn. There is also parking available at the venue if you wish use your own transportation. Please read the travel information/directions that are provided under the “Travel” tab. Please keep in mind that all vehicles need to be removed from the lot at the end of the night.

All vehicles must be removed from the property at the end of the night.

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?
Answer
If you know you can or cannot make our special day at this time, please RSVP in the section labeled “RSVP” by May 1st, 2026.

IS THE VENUE INDOOR OR OUTDOOR?

The ceremony will be held outdoors, along with cocktail hour. The reception will be inside and will conclude at 10:00 pm.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Answer
We’d love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! Please wear semi-formal attire.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN’T MAKE IT?
Answer
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know and RSVP “no”, so we can plan accordingly.

ARE KIDS WELCOMED?

For our special day, we’ve decided to keep our wedding adults-only, so everyone can fully relax and enjoy the evening with us. We hope you’ll take this as a chance for a special date night!

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?
Answer
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn and Comfort Suites. Please find the website link under the “Travel” tab. There are also some rental properties near the venue if you go to The Roost website, they have them listed.
