What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. We kindly ask guests to begin arriving between 3:00–3:15 PM so everyone can be seated and we can start right on time. We want to soak in every moment — and that includes a smooth, stress-free start!

Where is the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Karlene’s parents’ property in the hay field. It’s very special to us and we’re so excited to share it with you! There will be signs upon arrival directing you where to park. Parking will be on one side of the driveway, and the ceremony will take place on the other side. The reception will be held at the Moose Lodge in Rochester on beautiful Lake Manitou.

Are hotel blocks reserved?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a hotel block at the Quality Inn in Rochester for your convenience. There are also several Airbnb options available around Lake Manitou for those who would prefer to stay near the water and make a little weekend getaway out of it!

Will there be family photos?

Answer

Yes — we will be taking family photos shortly after the ceremony. We kindly ask that everyone stay at the ceremony venue until photos are complete. Once we finish, we’ll see you at the reception!

Can I take photos?

Answer

We will have a professional photographer capturing all the special moments throughout the day. We kindly ask that you sit back, relax, and enjoy the ceremony with us — and allow the professionals to do their magic. We promise to share plenty of photos afterward!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with you and your invited guest! Due to planning seating arrangements and catering for the day, we kindly ask that you only bring a guest if they are specifically listed on your invitation or RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding as we finalize our plans!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will be offering an open beer and wine bar for our guests to enjoy. Specialty drinks and cocktails will be available for purchase.
