Ethan and Jayme’s love story begins with two right-swipes in early 2017. Like many fellow members of their generation, it was a dating app - Bumble - that brought these two together. After viewing Ethan’s on-set horror-makeup selfie Jayme was smitten. Once Ethan saw Jayme dressed as a zombie-Elsa, he was intrigued. The two finally decided to meet up at Victory in Decatur, though the date had to be cut short because Jayme was deathly ill (her nose wouldn’t stop running!). Sad, but interested even more than before, the second date was quickly decided upon. This time, it would be coffee followed by a walk and picnic in Historic Oakland Cemetery. The date was magical. Jayme even thought to herself, “I’m going to marry that man one day.” Fast forward 2.5 amazing years... In August of 2019, Ethan asked Jayme to grab coffee and stroll through the same cemetery they had explored years before. As they walked around the historic bends, Jayme noticed a large gathering of people in the distance. “Wait, what are all these people doing here?" Among those in the group, she noticed a bright Hawaiian shirt, one of their best friend’s go-to wardrobe choices. "Is that Matt? What's going on?” Without answering, Ethan got down on one knee and asked Jayme “Will you marry me?” She said “F*ck yeah.”
