One of our favorite things to do in Dayton is visit the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force—it's an incredible (and free!) place filled with historic aircraft, space exhibits, and so much to explore. If you have extra time while you're in town, we highly recommend checking it out!
If you’re looking for something fun to do while in town, the Dayton Art Institute comes highly recommended. It features a wide range of art in a gorgeous historic building and is known for its beautiful views of the city. We haven’t made it there ourselves yet—but it’s definitely on our list!

Just a short walk from downtown Yellow Springs, Glen Helen Nature Preserve offers stunning trails, beautiful waterfalls, and the famous Yellow Spring. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful hike or a relaxing afternoon in nature—whether you're exploring the lush forests or visiting the Raptor Center.
