We first met in the early summer of 2023 while serving as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Over time, we began sharing stories from home and life before the mission. We became good friends! We would run into each other occasionally during our missionary service and continued to build our friendship little by little. In February 2024, we made it home from our missions. Ethan immediately texted Elly, and we began talking on the phone everyday. We would talk for hours, getting to know each other more and more. We both gave subtle hints of how we felt for one another. In April 2024, Elly visited Utah. Feelings were confirmed, and the connection was immediate. The rest is history! We can’t wait to be sealed for time and all eternity and start our next chapter together.
