Ethan and Ellie’s story began on February 10, 2018, at a show choir competition at Plainfield High School. Ethan had just turned 15 the day before, and Ellie was 14. Both were part of Avon High School’s show choir, and it was there—through music and mutual friends—that their paths first crossed. Just a few weeks later, on March 2, 2018, Ethan and Ellie began dating. What started with late-night ice cream runs after rehearsals quickly became so much more. They were just two kids, young and in love—encouraging each other in their faith, growing together through challenges, celebrating milestones, creating unforgettable memories, and learning about life, side by side. Over the past 7.5 years, that same young love has only grown deeper. On January 4, 2025, Ethan proposed to Ellie at Traders Point Creamery in Zionsville, Indiana—marking the beginning of a new chapter in their story. Their families have grown close, their dreams have become one, and their hearts have always known this was where they were headed—together, even when challenges come their way. They really were just two kids who fell in love… and they still are. The only difference now is that they’re ready to walk through life hand in hand as husband and wife, with Christ leading them every step of the way.
