FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would like to have our final headcount no later than April 12th, 2025.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The doors of The Jewel Box will be open for you at 4:20PM.

Question

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

Our reception will start with cocktail hour at 6:30PM. However, we understand that The Jewel Box is only minutes away and so the Missouri History Museum will have a waiting area until the start time of cocktail hour if you arrive early. Please feel free to enjoy the beauty of Forest Park in between!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We will ask this on the wedding RSVP and ask that you be as specific as possible, so we can accommodate your needs!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes we do and we suggest booking early to ensure you are able to get a room as it is a holiday weekend! You can view the hotel details for the Courtyard Marriott in Richmond Heights under the travel section on this website. There, you will find the link to reserve your room! Please note you have until April 24th, 2025 to get the discount rate for the room.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our dress code is semi-formal or cocktail attire. Semi-formal and cocktail dress codes are relatively similar, but they're not the same. You can think of semi-formal wedding attire as a slightly toned-down, business-esque version of cocktail attire. These two dress codes overlap in the sense that shorter dress hemlines and suits are both appropriate. While cocktail attire is all about eye-catching patterns, colors, and statement accessories, semi-formal wedding attire is a little more understated. Solid, darker colors and subtle patterns, such as a classic floral print or stripe, are always safe bets for this dress code. We want you to be comfortable, but please no jeans, sneakers, or flip-flops.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space constraints, we are only accommodating the children of both the bride and groom's families.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we simply cannot allow all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are stated on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
