Ethan and Chantelle met in 2019 at a Christian Church Conference in Seattle, both just 16 years old. It wasn’t exactly love at first sight but God had already begun writing their story. What started as light-hearted chats turned into long talks, laughter, and a deepening friendship that neither of them expected. Ethan felt something special from the start. With faith (and a bit of determination), he asked Chantelle to be his girlfriend… and was lovingly turned down. More than once. But love is patient, and so was Ethan. After a few “no’s” and a whole lot of prayer, Chantelle finally said "yes" on December 13th, 2020. God's timing, as always, was perfect. They continued to grow together, and in the summer of 2022, they took a leap of faith and moved to Calgary to start building their life side by side. Then, on June 8th, 2025, Ethan got down on one knee and asked the most important question of all. Chantelle said yes, this time with zero hesitation and a whole lot of happy tears. She was smitten, and so was he. Now, with hearts full of gratitude and eyes fixed on Jesus, they’re stepping into forever ready to build a marriage rooted in faith, love, and a really great story to tell.
