Jen and Caitlin became friends after a nasty rumor started back in 1994 that they wanted to fight each other. Once they met, they clearly realized that they were not fighters especially since Caitlin was on crutches. Since then, they've attended grade school and high school together and have traveled to places like Key West, New Orleans and Hawaii.
Joel Metzler
Best Man
Joel and Ethan were introduced by Ethan's sister, Kasey, at an IHOP in Lancaster in 2002 and quickly became friends bonding over Dylan and Petty. They came to form the band 'Sylvio', which saw some minor successes on the southern Lancaster music scene. After the band spilt up, they stayed close friends and still reminisce over their rock and roll glory days to this day. Joel is a great friend and has been a confident to Ethan for many years.
Desiree Redanauer
Bridesmaid
Caitlin and Desiree have been best of friends since the fifth grade. Hands down, Desiree is the funniest and most creative in Caitlin's close group of friends. Caitlin was a bridesmaid in Desiree's "surprise wedding". Desiree told her bridesmaids she wanted them included in her engagement photos but when they showed up they found out her wedding was actually that day.

Joe and Ethan met several years ago through Joel and his wife, Scarlett. Both stoic intellectuals, they bonded over long hikes in the Wissahickon Park and a love of all things nerdy. Joe is a great friend and is always ready to discuss Neil Tyson over a beer at a dive bar.
Kasey Hults
Bridesmaid
From the first moment that Caitlin met Kasey, she welcomed her in and treated her as if she were already family. They have spent many family weekends together whether in Lancaster or at the family lakehouse in Pine Grove. Kasey also designed the Save the Dates and wedding invites for this wedding!
Shawn McCullough
Groomsman
Shawn and Ethan met via Shawn's sister, Caitlin, over three years ago at the 2nd Street Music Festival in Northern Liberties. Shawn is a storyteller by trade with a side job as a firefighter. He has always welcomed Ethan into the McCullough family gatherings with open arms and has grown to be a good friend.
