Five years ago, Ethan and Arielle met in the operating room at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. Ethan was in his intern year of general surgery residency and was scrubbing into a breast reconstruction case with the plastic surgery team, which included Arielle, who had recently graduated from PA school. The two exchanged names and looks, but neither one was available at the time. Fast forward three years, both Ethan and Arielle were single and on the dating circuit. An online dating app matched the two lovebirds together, and a week later they had their first date in Red Bank, NJ. What started out as dinner and drinks at Triumph Brewery ended with music and more drinks at Jamian's jazz club, where they shared their first kiss. The dates continued on a weekly basis, and then on a daily basis, and after three months of dating, they quickly realized that they were meant to spend the rest of their lives together. By the end of the year, Ethan and Arielle moved in together in Eatontown, NJ. After a few months of living together, the pandemic hit, and quarantine only served to strengthen their relationship. On December 30th, 2020, Ethan proposed on the beach in Sea Bright, NJ.
