We can't wait to celebrate our big day with everyone, however with the current circumstances we have some safety measures we'd like to announce. Since we are having a large wedding, and our grandparents will be attending (they wouldn't miss it for the world!), we request that all guests take their temperature the day of the wedding so everyone can have a fun time while having peace of mind. We can not guarantee 6ft distancing at all times, so if you would like, bring your own mask as they will not be provided. Lastly we will have sanitizer stations at all high-touch areas. We want everyone to have a fun time while protecting the ones we love, thank you for your understanding!
We had many encounters over the years before we began dating, when people ask when we met I usually reply "which time?" 2006-2010 Anyone who knows us knows we both grew up boating, it is still our favorite summer activity. I quickly developed a crush on "the boy in the yellow boat". All my friends and family knew who I was talking about even if none of us knew his name.... 2013 I had just moved back from AZ when my parents convinced me to go to the neighbors party. I arrived to find my crush dancing with my mom and friends, I walked up and she introduced us. We danced most the night, when the band ended I said my goodbye. He asked me not to go yet that they were going to continue the music with a truck. I declined and went home, without the exchange of numbers. June 2014 I had gone out with some of my girl friends and we began to dare each other into shenanigans. On our walk to the next bar I saw Ethan waiting to get into a different one. I told one of my friends that I had a crush on him in High school, she then dared me to run up to him and kiss him. Filled with liquid courage I marched up to him and his friends to say hello, he didn't remember me. I instantly lost all courage and instead of a kiss I accused him of not knowing me after all these years and left. September 2014 Friday of Rodeo weekend we went to the Palace which is known for their extremely sweet and weak Otterpop Shots. Ethan walked in with some friends and sat across the bar from us. He ordered his friends a round, so I made fun of him for ordering the weakest shot. When he asked what he should have ordered I said "Patron of course". He bought us a round and from then on we were inseparable. Months later I found out that he still had not known my name that night and asked his friends to find out for him...clever. Looking back we laugh at how many chance encounters we had. We couldn't be happier to be where we are now and are excited to be sharing the next step of our journey with you!
