How do I get to Mountain Lake Lodge?

Answer

We recommend renting a car or carpooling if you are flying into the Roanoke Airport. Mountain Lake Lodge is about an hour away from the airport, and the ceremony venue is almost 30 minutes from the Lodge (no transportation will be provided between the lodge and the ceremony church).

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire for both the ceremony and the reception. Guests are encouraged to wear dress shirts, dress pants, dresses that fall below the knee, fancier sundresses, and the like. The first hour of the reception will be on a covered outdoor patio, everything else will be indoors.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one and/or my kids?

Answer

Yes - but please let Ethan or Abby know at least one month in advance if names aren't specifically listed on the RSVP

Can I stay somewhere other than Mountain Lake Lodge?

Answer

Of course - although you will miss out on being steps away from the reception, great hiking trails, and any other impromptu group wedding activities at the lodge! Blacksburg and surrounding areas have plenty of other great hotel / AirBnB options.
