No, while we love your children, this will be an adult only ceremony and reception.
We have many close friends and family that we invited, and our venue has a strict guest list capacity. For these reasons, unless we have written your guest's name on the invitation and unless their name is listed with yours when you RSVP online, then no, you do not have a plus one.
Please wear semi-formal attire, however, please also bring a coat if you need one for the ceremony. The ceremony will be outdoors on a patio on the shore of Lake Superior, in the rain, shine, snow, or wind! The dinner and reception will mostly be indoors, however, you will have the opportunity to also celebrate outdoors on the patio and around campfires by Lake Superior. If you are not familiar with the weather patterns of the North Shore (or if you need a reminder), weather changes frequently. Check the weather often in the days leading up to the wedding. It could be 40 degrees, 80 degrees, stormy, or sunny (or maybe all of those things in the same day)! Consider it part of Lake Superior's charm!
Yes! There is a restaurant inside the Lodge called Grand Superior Grill. They are open 8:00am-9:00pm on the weekend. Due to limited staffing on the North Shore, they do require reservations ahead of time (yes, including for breakfast). Calling the day before or day-of to make a reservation is fine, they just require that you do call to make a reservation. Please call 218-595-7025 to make a reservation before you dine.
