We have decided to move the wedding to Fort Wayne, IN (where Ethan is from) and the Lord has kindly and faithfully provided a place! Sweet Ethan came up and sat across from me at a table in the library. My first thought was, “oh a new friend!” until a few weeks later he said hi to me outside of our cafeteria and my friend Katie said, “Si, that took him awhile to work up the nerve to do that” (She had been watching this from a distance). Fast forward a few weeks and I was sitting next to him at a basketball game, beaming because he was the most chill, genuine guy ever. The basketball game happened to be his birthday, so that was super fun! Not long after that, we were getting ice cream, pumped to learn one another better. To this day, Ethan continues to amaze me by his humility, patience, zest for life and intentionality. The whole time is very sweet to me because the Lord so kindly led Ethan & I’s hearts together. I loved getting to know him with the security that it was all in a loving Father & good God’s hands. He is a kind gift from a good God!
