It all began on a magical New Year’s Eve in 2018. As the final hours of the decade slipped away, we found ourselves at Ballroom in Fremont, Washington. Two strangers caught in the energy of celebration. Amidst the music, laughter, and twinkling lights, we danced the night away. When the countdown reached midnight, we shared our first kiss! An unforgettable moment that felt like the start of something special. Though life took us in different directions, we exchanged numbers and kept in touch occasionally over the next few years through social media. There was always a spark and always a sense that our paths would cross again. In early 2022, that spark was reignited. Mikaela moved to Seattle after living in Bellingham for four years and reached out to Ethan via Instagram. His response was simple and sweet: "It's about time we went on that date." And just like that, the waiting was over. Our first official date was at Percy’s in Ballard, April 2022. What began as a casual drink quickly blossomed into something deeper. From that night on, we have spent nearly every weekend and every moment we could spare, together. The past three years have been filled with love, growth, and countless milestones.
